J-BASE for WindTrak 15 - Your Versatile Mounting Solution

This optional mount for WindTrak 15 offers more flexibility and cuts down the overall weight aloft by 15 grams compared to the standard mounting base. It's a great upgrade for your WindTrak 15 system.

The J-Base comes with two #10 (5 mm) self - tapping screws. To install, simply drill a pilot hole in the mast, apply silicone sealant or Locktite®, and screw it into the mast. You can also tap the mast for 3/16' (5 mm) machine screws or use epoxy putty to attach the base to the mast.

Using the J - Base for your WindTrak 15 is easy. First, gather the necessary tools like a drill, silicone sealant or Locktite®, and the provided self - tapping screws. Drill a small pilot hole in the mast where you want to install the base. Apply the sealant or Locktite® to the screws and then screw them into the mast. If you prefer, you can tap the mast for machine screws or use epoxy putty. When installing, make sure the surface of the mast is clean and dry. As for maintenance, check the screws periodically to ensure they are tight. If the silicone sealant or epoxy putty shows signs of wear, replace it. Store the J - Base in a dry place when not in use to prevent rust and damage.
