Using this temperature probe is easy. First, connect the probe to your compatible device like the Weather Envoy, Envoy8X, or Anemometer/Sensor Transmitter Kit using the RJ connector. Then, place the probe in the air, soil, or water you want to measure the temperature of. Make sure the 25 - foot cable doesn't get tangled. When not in use, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight to protect the black UV - stabilized plastic. Periodically check the cable for any signs of damage.
