This amazing multi-purpose temperature probe can measure the temperature of air, soil, or water. You can add up to four of these probes to a single Leaf & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station. Or, replace the internal temperature sensor of Vantage Connect with it. It's a great choice for measuring water or soil temperature without adding another station. The probe features a 2-1/2' (64mm) long stainless steel housing and comes with a 15' (4.6M) direct-burial cable. It's compatible with both the original Vantage Pro and Vantage Pro2. Using this temperature probe is easy. First, decide where you want to measure the temperature - it could be in the air, soil, or water. If you're using it with a Leaf & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station, you can add up to four probes. For Vantage Connect, just replace its internal temperature sensor. When installing, make sure the 15' direct - burial cable is properly placed. As for maintenance, keep the stainless - steel housing clean. Avoid exposing the probe to extreme conditions that could damage it. And remember to check the cable regularly for any signs of wear or damage.
