Using this adhesive lined heat shrink tubing is easy. First, select the appropriate wire from the 8 - 4 AWG range. Slide the tubing over the wire. Then, use a heat source to heat the tubing until it reaches 257°F / 125°C. As it heats, the tubing will shrink to 1/3 of its original size and the adhesive lining will activate, sealing out salt water, oil, acids, and sunlight, and providing strain relief.
