Using this heat shrink tubing is easy. First, select the right wire size from 8 - 2/0 AWG as it's a perfect fit for these. Slide the tubing onto the wire you want to cover. Then, use a heat source to heat the tubing. It starts to shrink at 257°F or 125°C. Make sure to heat it evenly so it shrinks uniformly and creates a tight seal. When you're done, the heat - activated adhesive lining will seal out salt water, oil, acids, and sunlight, and also relieve strain on the wire.
