Using this heat shrink tubing is easy. First, choose the right wire within the 16 - 10 AWG range. Slide the tubing over the wire. Then, use a heat source to heat the tubing until it reaches 257°F / 125°C. As it heats, the tubing will shrink down to 1/3 of its original size and the adhesive lining will activate, creating a tight seal. Be careful when using heat. Keep the heat source moving to avoid overheating in one spot. Since this product can expose you to harmful chemicals, always work in a well - ventilated area. For maintenance, store the tubing in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures outside the - 40°C to 110°C operating range.
