Product Description

Blue Sea Systems 187-Series 50A Surface Mount Circuit Breaker

Model: 7139-BSS
This circuit breaker combines switching and circuit protection in one device. It features a clear single lever for easy operation. The 'Trip Free' design ensures safety during fault current. It's waterproof and has recessed mounting holes for a clean look. The large clearance around terminal studs can accept heavy gauge wire lugs, and the robust 5/16 M8 terminals provide high torque connections. The large lever with vertical/horizontal orientation shows the trip status. It's ignition protected, safe for gasoline-powered boats, and meets SAE J1171 external ignition protection requirements. Note: Do not use as a switch for high inrush currents.

Using the Blue Sea 187-Series 50A Surface Mount Circuit Breaker is easy. First, make sure to mount it on a flat surface using the provided mounting holes. Connect heavy gauge wire lugs to the terminal studs. You can operate it with the single lever. The lever's position will show you if it has tripped. When using it, don't use it as a switch where high inrush currents are expected. Keep it away from extreme temperatures outside the -40°C to 85°C range. To maintain it, check the terminals regularly for tightness and make sure the case is clean. If it trips, reset it manually by moving the lever to the proper position.
