Product Description

The Faria 4-Inch White Dress Speedometer with an 80MPH (Pitot) range features a perimeter-lighted white dial with bold black graphics. It comes with a white aluminum bezel, a contoured black pointer, and a flat anti-scratch glass lens. Electronic speedometers capture pulses from a sensor and convert them into speed readings, similar to how a tachometer works. Pitot tube speedometers use water pressure forced into the tube, which is then transmitted to the movement inside the speedometer head to show the speed. Note that the pitot tube is sold separately. With a 4-inch size and a 3.375-inch (85mm) hole size, this speedometer operates on 12 VDC negative ground and can be adapted for 24 VDC systems. It has a dual scale for metric and imperial measurements. The factory P/N is SE9476, and it's sold individually without a gauge cover. This product has a UPC of 759266331136 and may not be returned to the original purchase point. Contact the manufacturer directly for any issues.

Using the Faria 4-Inch White Dress Speedometer is straightforward. First, make sure it's properly installed according to the voltage requirements (it can work with 12 VDC negative ground or be adapted for 24 VDC systems). If you're using the pitot tube type, connect the pitot tube to the speedometer using the flexible tubing. As you move, the water pressure in the pitot tube will give you a speed reading. Remember, the pitot tube is sold separately, so you'll need to buy it if you want to use this feature. When it comes to maintenance, keep the anti-scratch glass lens clean with a soft cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals. If you have any problems with the speedometer, don't return it to the place where you bought it. Instead, contact the manufacturer directly.
