Using this adhesive lined heat shrink tubing is easy. First, select the right size tubing for your wire from the 8 - 2/0 AWG range. Slide the tubing onto the wire you want to protect. Then, use a heat source like a heat gun to apply heat evenly around the tubing. When the temperature reaches 257°F / 125°C, the tubing will start to shrink down to 1/3 of its original size and the adhesive lining will activate, creating a tight seal.
