Product Description

Enhance your weather data transmission with our solar-powered Wireless Long-Range Repeater. If you need to send weather data over distances greater than 1,000 feet (300 meters), this repeater can extend the range up to two miles (3.2 km). Note that a pair of external antennas, sold separately, are required. It comes with transmitting and receiving cables to connect to external antennas. You can choose between our large omni-directional antenna (#7656) with a 1,560-foot (476 m) all-direction range or the Yagi directional antenna (#7660) with a 5,000-foot (1.5 km) one-direction range. You'll need two antennas for each repeater. The charging system works continuously even in low light, including a solar panel, regulator circuit, and rechargeable battery. This repeater is only compatible with Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue, not the original Vantage Pro.

Using your Davis Long Range Repeater is simple. First, make sure you have purchased a pair of external antennas separately. Connect the transmitting and receiving cables of the repeater to the external antennas. You can choose the large omni - directional antenna if you need coverage in all directions or the Yagi directional antenna for a long - range in one direction. The solar charging system will keep your repeater powered. Even in low light conditions, it will work continuously. Just place the solar panel where it can get as much light as possible. This repeater is only compatible with Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue, so don't try to use it with the original Vantage Pro. For maintenance, keep the solar panel clean to ensure efficient charging. Check the connections of the cables to the antennas regularly to make sure there are no loose connections.
