Using this adhesive lined heat shrink tubing is easy. First, select the appropriate wire from the 8 - 4 AWG range. Then, slide the tubing over the wire. Use a heat source, like a heat gun, to heat the tubing to 257°F (125°C). As it heats, the tubing will shrink to 1/3 of its original size, and the adhesive lining will activate, creating a strong seal. Remember, this product contains chemicals that can be harmful, so always work in a well - ventilated area. Avoid using it near open flames due to the presence of chemicals.
